BIRTHDAY AT DISNEYLAND: J + L

Our final birthday Disneyland trip has come and gone. Last month, I took the oldest two boys with my SIL. And, because of when their birthdays fall, the boys got to experience Disneyland at Halloween. We spent two full days at the park, dining at restaurants and enjoying seasonal treats. In two days, we spent over 27 hours in the parks, walked nearly 24 miles, and went on over 40 rides. It was a blast.

MAGICAL NEWS

If you know me, you know that’s it’s no surprise that I’m obsessed with Disney (what you may NOT know is that my obsession is only about five years old). So imagine my excitement when I found Castle Bound Supply Co on Insta, a company that makes and sells gorgeous, tasteful Disney home decor. Subtle designs that work with just about anything - without being ostentatious or “obnoxiously” IN YOUR FACE DISNEY. So I ordered a sign. And then another. And then a blanket. BEAUTIFUL. AND THEN… Rachl, the owner of Castle Bound Supply Co, created Castle Bound Travel Co. She wanted to provide clients with the same level of magic that she’d create for her own family. I toyed with the idea of applying to be a travel expert, but doubted myself initially. Then, in August, more positions opened up and I took the leap. Imagine my surprise at receiving an acceptance email while at work a couple of weeks ago! I wanted to squeal in delight, but instead I did a major happy dance at my desk while nearly crying tears of joy! I put my desires out into the universe and the universe delivered! I applied to be a Travel Expert the day before my Disneyland trip with the mr. and got notification of hire days after returning home! So now, in addition to working as a CAD technician for an engineering firm, I am a Travel Expert with Castle Bound Travel Co. What does that even mean? It means that I get to help people plan magical vacations of their own! The best part? It’s ✨FREE✨ for clients! If you’re interested in following along with my Disney obsession, head over to my Disney Insta page! If you’re not, no worries. I'll still love you.

365.5: WEEK THIRTY FIVE

ADULTS ONLY DISNEY TRIP

Just shy of a month ago, the mr. and I were ableto sneak away for another Disney trip. This time, with one of his sisters and her husband. It. Was. Incredible. It never felt too busy or too hot; everything was just perfect. We timed our days well and hit every ride that we wanted. The food was delicious and the company was wonderful. We even had a few serendipitous moments running into friends (and experiencing a few rides with them). I think it's safe to say that this was the most magical trip of the year.
