GHOST TOWN

I was suppose to run 8 miles on Saturday, so naturally I looked for any excuse to get out of it. This ended in an impromptu trip to Goldfield Ghost Town. We braved cold temperatures (without jackets because #momfail) but had an amazing adventure. Highlights include: watching the shootout, visiting the reptile room to see several scary snakes, getting locked in jail by a cast member, playing checkers together, panning for gold and other precious gems, going on a tour of the mine, visiting mercantile shops, eating old fashioned candy, walking the railroad tracks, and being next to my favorite mountain chain. Such a fun experience.
