One-on-one with my fourth oldest was a treat. She originally had a different experience in mind, but quickly hopped onboard with the idea of doing a painting class together. We browsed the upcoming classes and easily agreed on the same design. It was such a fun experience (and only required minimal bolstering on my end). We both walked away with pretty cactus prints that we had painted!

MOTHER'S DAY GIFTS: SECOND OLDEST
Back at the beginning of July, my second oldest and I spent an afternoon at iFLY. He decided that he wanted his one-on-one experience to be indoor skydiving, so we made it happen. We both had a fabulous time in the wind tunnel doing high flys! I’m grateful for his unique personality that picked something so out-of-the-box.

MOTHER'S DAY GIFTS: SECOND YOUNGEST
One-on-one with number five was a trip to the Arizona Science Center. Fun fact: I worked at the Science Center for 3 years as an education specialist. Because of this, I dragged my son to one of the demonstrations that I used to perform yeeeaaarrrs ago (and was thrilled with how little it has changed in 16+ years). So much is different than when I worked there, but I still experienced quite a bit of nostalgia (and sent a few texts to my old work bff, Camilla). Plus, they had an awaesome animal exhibit that my son got a kick out of. Such a fun day!
