HUNT FOR REPTILES

By now you guys know that I do preschool for my two oldest littles. For the letter R, we talked about reptiles. Various kinds, diet & habitat, defense mechanisms. Since the boys did so well with their lessons, I decided to reward them with a field trip to the zoo. We did a scavenger hunt at the zoo, looking for all of the reptiles we could find. Tortoises, snakes, and lizards abound! The neatest part of our adventure: being able to witness a couple different snakes being fed live mice. So cool.
